First and third Saturdays ONLY
Please print, sign and bring the Guidelines Waiver form along with you to the walk.
After a hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, First and third Saturday summer, fall and winter bird walks resume on July 4, 2020! Birding enthusiasts Sharon and Larry Williams of Waynesboro will lead the walks along the hiking trails at Renfrew Park throughout the summer, and plan to continue in the fall and winter.
Walks begin at Renfrew’s lower parking lot off Welty Road. Participants should wear comfortable walking shoes and may bring identification books and binoculars. Free and open to the public.
Please Note: 2020 Bird Walks resume in compliance with guidelines under the GREEN Phase of the Covid reopening plan, including:
• Groups no larger than 12
• Participants will sign in & complete a contact form (available HERE)
• Social distancing must be practiced
• Mask optional on the trail while appropriately distanced, & required when appropriate distancing is not possible.
